Soursop benefits:

Single Serving: Pour 2 1/2 cups of cold water with 2 to 3 leaves into pot. Bring water to a boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Let leaves sit for 3 minutes. Pour into cup then drink. If adding to smoothies, juice, or ice cream let tea cool then add as you please.

One should only consume Soursop tea 2 to 3 times a month. Check with Doctor before consuming tea.

Soursop trees are native to tropical areas in North and South America. People use the leaves of the soursop fruit tree to make soursop tea. Place two cups of water in pot, then put one piece of bitter wood in the pot. Let water come to a complete boil, then leave bitter wood in boiling water for about 7 minutes. Drink bitter wood tea hot or let bitters completely cool down then drink. Bitter wood tea can be placed in the fridge over night up to two weeks. If water tastes sour please discard.

Bitter wood is also known as Jamaican Quassia
